ADP — Average Draft Position — tells you where a player is being drafted, on average, across hundreds of real fantasy basketball drafts. A player with an ADP of 12.3 is typically selected with the 12th or 13th pick. ADP is the single most practical data point when you walk into a draft: it tells you what the market thinks, so you know when to target a player and when you can afford to wait a round.
Fantrax drafts skew toward deeper, more competitive leagues — often 12- to 16-team formats with expanded rosters and more categories. As a result, specialists and two-way contributors draft higher on Fantrax than elsewhere. Yahoo attracts the largest and most casual player base. Marquee names, stars with brand recognition, and high-scoring guards tend to go earlier on Yahoo than their production strictly warrants. ESPN leagues sit between the two: moderately competitive, slightly biased toward points-league formats and big-name recognition. Comparing the three ADPs side by side lets you spot platform arbitrage — players who are systematically over- or under-valued on one platform versus another.
Sort by Avg ADP (default) to see the consensus draft board. Sort by any single-platform column to see how that platform diverges from the consensus. Use the position filter pills to narrow down to your target slots. The "Top N" toggle shows the players most likely to appear in your draft. Every player name links to their full player page — check their schedule strength, injury history, and stat projections before committing a pick.
ADP data is refreshed daily from live draft activity across all three platforms. Preseason values shift quickly in the first weeks of the offseason; in-season values reflect recent performance and injury news. Check back before your draft.
