Slamdex connects your Yahoo, ESPN or Fantrax fantasy basketball league to Claude AI, so you can ask questions about your real team in plain English — who to stream this week, which free agents fit your build, whether a trade helps you, how to punt a category. Claude reads your live roster, the free agent pool, league settings and Slamdex projections, then answers with your actual players instead of generic advice.

It works over the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Setup is a copy-and-paste URL on Claude.ai, or one config-file entry on Claude Desktop. The integration is included with any registered Slamdex account and does not require a paid plan.

Questions

Slamdex connects Yahoo Fantasy, ESPN Fantasy and Fantrax leagues to Claude. Once your league is linked to Slamdex, Claude can read that league through the Slamdex MCP server.

No. The Claude integration is included with any registered Slamdex account and does not require a paid subscription. Slamdex is supported by voluntary donations.

Yes. On Claude.ai you add Slamdex as a custom connector using a server URL, which requires no installation. On Claude Desktop you add the Slamdex MCP server to your configuration file, which requires Node.js.

Claude can read your leagues and their settings, your team roster, the other teams in the league, the free agent pool, upcoming player schedules, draft boards and Slamdex projections. It reads data to answer questions and does not make roster moves for you.

Access uses a private API token tied to your Slamdex account. You can regenerate or revoke that token at any time, which immediately cuts off access.

Not for the Claude.ai web setup, which is copy and paste of a single URL. The Claude Desktop method requires editing a JSON configuration file and having Node.js installed.
